Fair Trade (2006)

In Tangiers, a young Moroccan who speaks German meets the ferry from Spain and greets a woman who's probably in her 30s. He is Nico, she is Mirjam. Their attitudes are furtive. What's going on? He takes her to a flat where he lets her hold an infant, a 10-week-old girl. She smiles and expresses satisfaction, then asks to see the baby's mother. A distraught young woman is brought into the room. She weeps. Mirjam hands Rico an envelope of money. He agrees to meet her tomorrow in Spain. She returns to the ferry.
