Shane, who has managed to avoid alcohol consumption for all 26 years of his life becomes the sole proprietor of his inheritance, Canning’s Tavern. The bar regulars manage to spike the soda keg, and Shane finds himself an unsuspecting target. But something’s different about this first time drunk – the alcohol seems to take no effect at all.
