Frantsuz (1988)

Viktor and Vlad are far from happy when their father comes home from World War II – they had thought he was dead. They have been running a bit wild, and Dad’s no-nonsense approach to responsibility has them angry. At the same time, the street kids they have been running with have been turning them out, out of jealousy that they have a Dad again. Things are further complicated when their mother’s brother, another prisoner of war, also shows up. He is a con man and a rogue, and the kids take to him immediately. They conspire with him to try to get their mother to throw their Dad out.
