Ng Tsui-choi has been unable to pay his rent for several months. With no alternatives, he decides to rob. One night, Tsui-choi tries to rob Chow Yat-ching but is persuaded by Yat-ching to give up the attempt and they become good friends. Tsui-choi and Yat-ching work as salesmen and their economic condition improves. They meet a personal tutor called Tang Sau-ying. At this moment, Sau-ying’s Singaporean fiance is suffering from a serious illness, and she wants to come to Hong Kong for the treatment.
